Autumn Jubilee Quilt Along Begins from From My Carolina Home

Today we begin the quilt along for this year’s Autumn Jubilee. We’ll work on it over the next month, with posts every Friday. In past years, I’ve done two blocks alternating in placement several times, then a row quilt, and a round robin. This year, the quilt will be your choice as to the size and placement, and we will have lots of block patterns.

Autumn Jubilee Quilt Along Begins! from From My Carolina Home

I think the quilt-along part of Autumn Jubilee is the part quilting readers look forward to the most. Seeing another fun pattern in Autumn colors puts us in the mood for the holidays to come, celebrating the fall season with Thanksgiving on the way. Autumn Jubilee 2020 Begins!! from From My Carolina Home

Wow, it is the fifth year for Autumn Jubilee, and this is going to be the best yet! I never thought when I did this for the first time in 2016 that it would grow the way it has. Birdies in the Window from From My Carolina Home

Sometimes things just come together when you aren’t expecting it.  I had this pretty bird fabric out, trying to figure out something to do with it, when the nice folks at MadamSew sent me some happy mail.  In the box were two new things to play with, some Square Templates and a Rotating Cutting Mat.  So, a bit of secret sewing was in order to do a project for them.  I did this wall hanging as a pattern, and it is now available on the MadamSew blog.  You start with fussy cutting your motif on two sides.
